The Process:

Here is what the timeline will look like

Part 1- General Application

  • Apply to work with FWNN— submit your resume and other documents

  • Intro Call- Tell us a little about yourself and what role you’re seeking

  • Background check- Online, quick, and free for our incoming candidates

  • Intake Form- A more detailed questionnaire about your preferences in a job

Part 2- Finding a match

  • Welcome! You are officially up for a job with our FWNN families

  • Apply to jobs- Express your interest in certain jobs as they appear on the job board

  • Match and Interview- If FWNN thinks you are a good match to the family, we will recommend you for an interview

  • Trial -If selected, you will set up a 2-3 day trial in your new role and make sure it’s a good fit

  • Contract Signing- Work out your details with your new nanny family and pick a start date!

Here are some Frequently Asked Questions the Nannies have about applying with us

  • Yes, at this time we are only placing people over the age of 18

  • Absolutely! Childcare is an incredibly fulfilling and rewarding career, and we all start somewhere. We do ask that you have a work history related to children in some other fields- whether you’ve been a teacher, a daycare worker, etc. We can chat further and decide if FWNN is a good fit for you at this time.

  • Yes, in order to work with us you will need to agree to a background check. This will include a check on your driver’s license and other criminal registries. The cost is covered by the families who are searching for childcare; the background check fees are built into their payments.

  • Every placement we make has a trial period to see if the nanny and the family are a good fit. Your safety and security are our first and foremost concern. You can choose to not move ahead for any reason after the trial is complete, and you will be returned to the candidate pool.

  • That is completely fine! The more babysitters we have to choose from, the more often we can help families cover their date nights. You will still be subject to a background check, and at this time, we are only accepting those who are over the age of 18.
